What exactly does this mean?
The sun milk and sun creams from sun protection products are awarded the EcoSun Pass. This means we are responding to our users' desire for more environmentally friendly sunscreens.
With the EcoSun Pass, BASF has developed a new methodology in the field of sun protection that can be used to check the environmental impact of UV filter systems in sunscreens. The EcoSun Pass evaluates the environmental impact of UV filter systems in sun creams, such as biodegradability, aquatic toxicity and the potential for endocrine disruption.
